incredible tripSally and I want to thank you for your “guidance” on “The Rose Jacobson Bat Mitzvah Trip.”
Your contributions to our understanding of the incredible things we saw made the trip that much more incredible. We can’t thank you enough for sharing your amazing country with us. Rob & Sally Corriel, Manhasset, N.Y. |
will give out your cardI just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our trip and our time with you. You were the best. I have kept your card and will give it to anyone interested in going to Israel. Abe wants to come back so that he can spend several days at the swimming hole (Sachneh).

kept us engagedI wanted to drop you a line to thank you for a really wonderful trip. My subpart of the Sternberg clan had a blast.
I think you did an excellent job of mixing it up to keep our whole posse engaged. Must be weird to merge into families a week at a time, but you do it seamlessly! Leigh Gilligan, Boston |
The first time we worked with Bill it was just Josh and me travelling (Josh was 10 at the time). This trip was a true turning point for Josh and me and I truly credit Bill's people skills for that. He was perfectly able to understand the "teaching" I was trying to do with Josh, and then convert the best of that into his own words/style so it was coming from him not me. And he was both funny and fun and comfortable with us, but not "in the way" or trying to dominate things.
He really made the diversity work. He didn't just shoot for the lowest common denominator but he mixed up the levels, nuances and complexities of what he was saying while at the same time taking care of all of the logistics and be patient with the family politics... it was nothing short of artful.
In terms of the "business" end of things, he was very upfront about all costs/expenses, and I found that dealing with all of that upfront/directly well before made the actual trip free from waiting for any shoes to drop re: hidden expenses.
It is so rare that I give this kind of raving/unreserved recommendation. I can tell you he really acted as a mensch at all times.
